Under the agreement, <a title=\"Nvidia to open a new quantum computing lab\" href=\"https:\/\/thecatalystonline.com\/home\/nvidia-to-open-a-new-quantum-computing-lab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA<\/a> will provide a prepayment to support the expansion of Amkor\u2019s\u00a0U.S. advanced packaging capacity.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Advanced packaging enables the performance, energy efficiency and system-level integration required for AI infrastructure. NVIDIA and\u00a0Amkor\u00a0will align their long-term roadmaps to advance technologies including high-density interconnects and next-generation heterogeneous integration.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Amkor\u00a0has delivered advanced packaging solutions that support the performance and reliability of NVIDIA platforms across a broad product portfolio, including data center processors, networking chipsets and next generation accelerated computing systems. This expanded collaboration will bring new technologies to market at scale as demand for AI infrastructure grows.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The partnership also reflects a shared commitment to expanding full turnkey advanced packaging and test capabilities in\u00a0the United States, strengthening domestic semiconductor manufacturing and supply-chain resilience for AI infrastructure. NVIDIA\u2019s capacity agreement supports Amkor\u2019s expansion of\u00a0U.S. capacity in\u00a0Arizona, complementing the company\u2019s established manufacturing footprint across\u00a0Asia, to create
