The tool will be able to verify the authenticity of labels through a photo of the state seal. It will also be able to provide detailed information on the origin of the product by scanning the label, as well as its characteristics and recommended pairings.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Microsoft and the institute hope to replicate to tool to authenticate all Made in Italy products in the future.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cThe collaboration between Microsoft and the institute launches new digitalisation projects aimed at strengthening the safety and authenticity of Italian products, while promoting innovation and leveraging the latest technologies,\u201d said Vincenzo Esposito, CEO of Microsoft Italy. \u201cWe are proud of the first project together to protect a world-famous brand such as that of The Consortium for the Protection of the Prosecco DOC.
