The state has signed a \u20b925,000 crore agreement with Puch AI, aiming to build large scale AI infrastructure and attract global tech activity.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The announcement was shared by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who said the initiative will focus on governance, innovation, and job creation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UP\u2019s AI plan includes parks, data centres and university<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The agreement outlines a multi-layer plan. Uttar Pradesh wants to build a complete AI ecosystem, from research to real world deployment.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Key components include:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>AI Parks for startups and research labs<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Large data centres to support computing needs<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>An AI Commons platform for open access tools<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>A dedicated AI University for training talent<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cThis initiative will strengthen governance, drive innovation, and create future-ready opportunities for our youth,\u201d Yogi Adityanath said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lucknow to lead as India\u2019s first AI city<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Lucknow is expected to take the lead in this transformation. A 40 acre plot near the airport has been identified for what is being called India\u2019s first AI City.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Other cities like Noida, Kanpur, Varanasi, and Prayagraj are also part of the broader plan. These cities will focus on IT and IT enabled services, creating new tech driven jobs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The government is also working with institutions like IIT Kanpur and IIM Lucknow to support these projects. That could help in building talent locally.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Big investments and growing ambition<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This deal adds to a series of large investments secured by Uttar Pradesh. At the World Economic Forum earlier this year, the state signed multiple agreements, including a \u20b925,000 crore deal with Essar Group.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>UP Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta \u2018Nandi\u2019 summed up the vision, saying, \u201cAI leadership means leadership of the world, and our \u2018double engine\u2019 government is turbocharged to lead the tech
