
Meta said it will reveal more information about LlamaCon, which is named after the company’s open-source AI model Llama, in “the coming weeks.” The Connect conference will feature the “latest and greatest in Meta Horizon updates” and will “peel back the curtain on tomorrow’s tech,” Meta says.
Meta is planning to invest billions in AI this year and may also launch a new pair of smart glasses with a smaller heads-up display. Last week, EssilorLuxottica — the company that makes Meta’s AI-powered Ray-Ban Smart Glasses — revealed that 2 million units sold since the device’s launch in October 2023.
