GITEX Africa 2025, the continent’s largest technology and startup exhibition, is gearing up to open its doors in Marrakech, Morocco, from April 14 to April 16. Returning for its second edition, the event promises to be even bigger, hosting more than 1,500 exhibitors, 700 startups, and 350 investors, as per GITEX Africa.

Organized by KAOUN International, a subsidiary of Dubai World Trade Centre, and held under the patronage of Morocco’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, GITEX Africa will gather government leaders, global tech companies, investors, and entrepreneurs to accelerate Africa’s digital transformation. Major names like Microsoft, IBM, Huawei, Oracle, and AWS will join Africa’s fast-growing startups and innovation hubs, while official delegations from Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, South Africa, and Senegal are expected to participate.

The event will spotlight emerging sectors such as AI, fintech, healthtech, agritech, and cybersecurity. Attendees can look forward to exclusive keynote addresses, panel discussions on public-private partnerships, startup showcases, and the highly anticipated Supernova Challenge, Africa’s largest startup pitch competition. Dedicated networking spaces and investor programs will further connect entrepreneurs with venture capitalists and tech pioneers from around the world.

Africa’s digital economy is forecasted to reach $712 billion by 2050 (Source: IFC), and with internet penetration surging across the continent, GITEX Africa comes at a critical time. The platform will showcase Africa’s innovation potential, drive investment, and enable collaboration across industries and borders.
