As Egypt accelerates the shift from artificial intelligence policy frameworks to large-scale deployment, Cairo is emerging as a focal point for AI-driven urban transformation across Africa and the Middle East. This transition will be on display on February 11, 2026, when the city hosts Ai Everything MEA Egypt, a major international forum bringing together technology firms, investors, multilateral institutions, and public-sector leaders.

The event is designed to support knowledge exchange, technology demonstrations, and cross-sector collaboration at a time when governments across the region are prioritizing AI-enabled infrastructure and sustainability outcomes.

Integra City Presents Integrated Urban AI Architecture

Among the participating companies, Integra City International Group is presenting its integrated AI-based platform for smart and sustainable city development. The group’s approach centers on a unified digital architecture that connects urban management, public safety, digital government services, and critical infrastructure protection within a single analytical framework.

The platform is built to integrate both proprietary and third-party systems, allowing cities to consolidate previously siloed technologies into a coordinated decision-support environment. Integra City also positions its offering as end-to-end, covering infrastructure deployment, system integration, and long-term operational support.

AI as a Decision and Risk Management Layer

Within Integra City’s architecture, artificial intelligence functions as a core analytical engine rather than a standalone feature. AI models process data streams from sensors, cameras, and monitoring systems to identify risks, evaluate operational scenarios, and support real-time response decisions.

This approach is designed to improve management accuracy and speed across complex urban systems, particularly where large volumes of data would otherwise limit human oversight.

Traffic Enforcement and Public Safety Applications in Africa

One of the showcased deployments includes the Nexus AI solution currently used by the Uganda National Police Command Center in Kampala. The system analyzes live traffic data collected from an extensive camera network, monitoring vehicle movement across varying traffic and weather conditions.

The AI-driven enforcement architecture supports automated detection of violations such as speeding and enables a full enforcement cycle, from image capture to penalty issuance, within approximately one minute. Beyond enforcement, aggregated data is used to identify high-risk areas, classify offense patterns, and generate recommendations for infrastructure improvements such as road design adjustments or additional signage.

According to Integra City, the system has evolved into a forecasting and planning tool, supporting longer-term traffic safety strategies and behavioral change.

Critical Infrastructure Protection and Industrial Security

In Central Asia, Integra City has deployed its Bordex solution for the protection of high-security and critical infrastructure facilities. The platform combines AI-enabled monitoring with data analytics to deliver situational awareness and coordinated threat-response capabilities.

By aggregating validated operational data, the system is intended to support confident decision-making for operators managing sensitive industrial and strategic assets, particularly in environments where security risks are dynamic and complex.

Digital Government and Urban Services Platforms

At Ai Everything Egypt, Integra City is also presenting its Sfera and Kodex platforms, which focus on urban services and public administration digitization. Sfera is designed to support real-time monitoring and management of city infrastructure, including utilities, lighting, traffic, and environmental conditions, with an emphasis on accessibility and service quality for residents.

Kodex addresses digital government operations by automating document workflows, approvals, taxation processes, accounting, and citizen identification systems. Together, these platforms aim to streamline interagency coordination while improving transparency and efficiency in public service delivery.

Regional Collaboration and Sustainable City Development

Speaking ahead of the event, Ilya Belyakov, Chief Technology Officer of Integra City, said participation in Ai Everything MEA reflects growing alignment between artificial intelligence deployment and sustainability objectives in urban development. He noted that the exhibition provides an opportunity to exchange best practices and explore how AI solutions can be adapted to Egypt and other regional markets.

With participation from global institutions including the World Bank Group, the forum underscores the increasing role of AI in shaping urban investment strategies, public infrastructure planning, and digital inclusion initiatives.

Edge AI as a Foundation for Scalable Smart Cities

Integra City’s presentation also highlights its edge AI approach, which emphasizes on-device data processing to reduce latency, strengthen data privacy, and limit network congestion. This architecture is positioned as particularly relevant for large urban environments where real-time decision-making and secure data handling are critical.

As cities across Africa and the Middle East explore AI-enabled pathways to sustainability, resilience, and inclusive growth, the solutions showcased in Cairo reflect a broader shift from pilot projects toward scalable, operational AI systems embedded in everyday urban governance.
